Privacy & advertising
A clear record of what the site stores and why.
Effective July 12, 2026
Cross-country information
Altitude displays publicly available race results, athlete names, teams, grades, meets, and source links for ranking and performance-analysis purposes. Contact us if a sourced result needs correction or removal.
Browser-local data
Imported meets, rating history, connector settings, and virtual-meet selections may be saved in local browser storage. This information remains on that browser unless a future hosted account or database feature clearly states otherwise.
Google advertising
When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies, device identifiers, IP-derived location, and related signals to deliver, limit, secure, and measure advertisements. Altitude marks its manual ad requests for teen-restricted treatment because the subject matter and expected audience include high-school athletes.
Google and its partners may process information according to their own policies. Visitors in regions requiring consent should receive a Google-certified consent message before personalized advertising storage or processing is used.
Young users
Altitude does not currently offer user accounts or ask athletes to submit birth dates, contact details, or guardian information. The site should not knowingly collect personal account information from children under 13. If accounts or personalized profiles are introduced, age and guardian-consent controls must be implemented before launch.
Your choices
You can block or delete browser storage through your browser settings. Where the AdSense consent message is available, use its privacy and cookie controls to review or change advertising choices.
